This is the kitchen As you can see the cooking over an open flame in a house made of dried plant materials. In the winter, they see many burns from families sleeping close to the fires for warmth. I am surprised more homes don't burn down. They are flammable and there are no smoke detectors. Come to think of it there are no fire departments.
Dear Debby, I took some time to read your posts today. Just an amazing experience for you and I am so happy things are going well. It is a wonderful gift you are giving to these people and we are very proud of you! When you come back from your trip, it would be great if you could spend some time after church telling your story and showing slides. This is really something.
